Oh, I love this painting, and I'm a huge Sargent fan! I've seen another version of it (EL Jaleo) that he painted on display at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. In fact, I've sat and stared at it. Sargent was a genius with light and shadow and movement. In the one at the Gardner she is dancing in front of musicians. Thanks for sharing this one! Just magnificent. xo
