we made our annual trek to michigan for blueberry picking. the sun beat down on our heads and arms but fortunately there was a cool breeze as we picked in the long rows of berry bushes. summertime. the berries burst in our mouths as we sampled a few and uncovered some stray blackberry bushes. such abundance. a perfect morning. hope you had some perfect moments this weekend. happy monday! paz, k

ReplyDeleteI'd make conserves and pies out of them.
(I don't mean to be all promotional sounding but I have several blueberry recipes on my blog that I've posted in the last two months...my favorites are the pie, the compote, and the creme-fraiche cake...and I've got a loaf cake too).
Mmmmmm, I'm drooling! Meg just posted a yummy peach cobbler recipe on our blog. She mentioned adding blueberries to it next time. I think that would be delish!
