dream ring....

next year is our 15th (!!) wedding anniversary and i am scheming....abigail heche is a fabulous jewelry designer in sw michigan and i have taken a liking to this particular ring (the cross ring) along with these simple stacking rings. likey? abigail emailed me that a diamond or white sapphire could be the center stone. obviously the sapphire would be a little easier on the wallet. anyhow, i have some time but it will take me a year to make up my mind. do you have a dream ring?

do you know....

frederick childe hassam, American impressionist painter (1859-1935)? i am in love with his attention to color and light and singular moments of bliss.

new day....

finish each day and be done with it. you have done what you could. some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. tomorrow is a new day. you shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense. -emerson
happy monday to you! k
